As Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission celebrates 20 years of dedicated service to tribal communities in Kerala, we are happy to announce the launch of “UTKARSH – In Search for New Heights.” A series of events, including workshops, conferences, and meetings, are planned as part of the celebrations, starting on January 12 and culminating on September 15, 2025.

The celebrations were inaugurated on January 12, 2025 by Sri. Suresh Gopi, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Tourism, who also delivered the inaugural address.

The event was also enriched by the presence of several esteemed dignitaries.

Dr. Mohanan Kunnummel, Vice-Chancellor of Kerala University and Kerala University of Health Sciences, delivered the presidential address as Chairman of the Organizing Committee. Sri M.R Rajagopal, Chairman Emeritus of Pallium India and Padma Shri awardee, inspired us as the Chief Guest. Sri Sreekanth K Arimanithaya, CEO of Xarpie Labs and Entrepreneur in Residence, presented the keynote address. Sri Baiju Kurup, Chief General Manager of NABARD Kerala, graced the event as the Guest of Honour.

The inauguration was also graced by Sri Sree kumar V, Secretary of GTEC and State Head, TATA Elxsi, Smt. Sankari Unnithan, Chairperson of Yi Thiruvananthapuram Chapter
and Dr. Ranjit Vijay Hari, President of Deseeya Sevabharathi Keralam who delivered felicitation address.

UTKARSH is more than a celebration of 20 remarkable years; it represents a renewed commitment to serving those in need and addressing the emerging challenges within the tribal communities. It is also a moment to reflect on our journey, strengthen partnerships, and pave new paths of impact.
