Educational Resource Centres are centres located in the tribal villages that conduct weekend classes to promote foundational education and impart moral and cultural values among school children. The classes are usually attended by about 15-25 children in a centre. There are currently 50 villages with active educational resource centers. 

The instructors, who are from the same hamlet itself, guide the children and  provide them inputs on academic subjects. They receive monthly and annual training to equip them with the skills needed to effectively run the centers. A monthly session plan is co-developed and shared during these monthly training sessions.

To engage with the children’s parents, we conduct bi-monthly parents meetings, where parents are encouraged to provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the classes. The students are also provided with support in the form of books, stationeries and other educational resources.
